🎉 Bowling Baddie of the Month: Ami Richardson 🎉

Hey Baddies,

As promised, I’ve got a new blog feature up—and YES, you can be featured too! The form is now live on my website under the tab “BE A BADDIE”. If you ever want me to write a blog about you, fill out that form—just like Ami did!

The only catch is you have to buy something from the shop because you'll need to submit a photo or video IN THE PRODUCT you purchased so I can include you in the blog image. That way, I can show you off properly đź’…

So let’s get into it!

🎉 Bowling Baddie of the Month: Ami Richardson 🎉

We are so excited to celebrate Ami Richardson as this month’s Bowling Baddie of the Month! Fun fact—Ami was actually our very first winner in our first-ever t-shirt giveaway, so it feels extra special to now give her the spotlight. She has been a Bowling Baddie supporter since the beginning—and honestly, a Bowling Baddie since birth!

Ami’s love for bowling started early, thanks to her biggest supporter—her dad—who encouraged her to bowl at just 3 years old. We absolutely love seeing proud, supportive bowling parents who help their daughters chase their passion.

Bowling has been Ami’s entire life (something so many of us can relate to 💖). She went on to represent her bowling team at Oak Ridge High School and became an active youth bowler, taking 3rd place at the Texas State Grand Prix Championship in 2016. She was also recognized by the Greater Houston USBC as one of the top youth bowlers in the region.

On top of that, Ami held the Houston youth high average for two years straight 🏆, notched several first-place youth finishes, and just last fall, she also secured the highest women’s average in her leagues—an achievement that shows her consistency and dedication.

Today, Ami is still actively competing and supporting tournaments across Texas, including the Senior All-Star Bowling Association and NDO Bowling Tournaments. Most recently, in 2023, Ami finished 2nd at the Troy Boyd Memorial Tournament, proudly holding her own against a highly competitive, male-dominated field. đź’Ş

When we asked Ami about her bowling goals, she shared that she wants to become the women’s high average bowler in her region this season and roll her first 300 game and 800 series. We know she has the drive and talent to make it happen, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way!

Ami also shared the people who inspire and support her the most in bowling:

“My dad inspires me because he’s been my coach my whole life. My boyfriend and his family are my biggest supporters as well! John Austin Jr has become a great coach as well as partner in bowling recently. I’m also inspired by Andrew Anderson—he’s become a great friend and he absolutely kills it on the lanes while always showing confidence in me!”

Here’s what Ami had to say about the Bowling Baddies community:

“The group represents the strong and amazing women bowlers! I absolutely love the support and getting the girls a chance to shine!”

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ami at recent tournaments here in Texas, and I can tell you firsthand that her bowling skill is seriously impressive. She’s also a sweet girl to have a conversation with! We’re so excited that she’ll be joining us at our very first Bowling Baddies Club tournament—The Baddie Open on October 11th in Oklahoma City—and she’s even bringing along another Bowling Baddie friend to join the fun.

Ami, thank you for being such a bright light in our community and for lifting up other women bowlers. We are so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish.

✨ Congrats again, Ami—our Bowling Baddie of the Month! ✨

Love you all xx
Bowling Baddies Club 💕🎳
